The morning these pictures were taken, he just walked out of the breeding pasture with 9 mares at the end of breeding season. Not bad for an old man.
Cougarwood
"Cougar" is a product of the magic cross between Hancock and Driftwood
bloodlines. As an own son of Leo Hancock Hayes and out of a
daughter of Orphan Drift, he sires foals as close up to those great
individuals as are available anywhere in the world today. If you
are looking for a pedigree for a ranch or arena prospect, I don't know
where you would find a better one!
The first crop
of foals have very small, keen heads, not typical of Hancock bloodlines (see 2018 foals). The
Cougar foals are very quiet and sensible indicating that he is siring
good dispositions and great minds when crossed on our mares.
We look for great things to come from the addition of Cougarwood to our program!
