  • We are really proud of the accomplishments of Kate and Barons Quincy Cash in Texas. His bay roan full brother, Barons Cash Charger, sells in the Froelich Legacy Quarter Horses sale Sept 17, 2016.  Below is what Kate had to say in an August 2016 facebook post:

"Raised on the rough and rugged rolling pastures of southern North Dakota, Baron's Quincy Cash (Headlight), comes from Dittus Performance Horses, Elgin, ND. His sire, McKeag's Red Baron is the son of McKeag, the reference sire from Froelich Legacy Quarter Horses. (McKeag passed a couple years ago.)

Headlight is an example of the elegant, all-around performance horse this breeding produces. He's a do it all gelding that's been shown competitively against many top, world-class horses in extreme trail, ranch trail, ranch pleasure and Cowboy Dressage, to name a few. He won top honors at the Triple Threat Competition in 2013, at Hamilton, TX. His mind, athleticism and all around good looks, have made him a competitive and successful show and ranch gelding.

Since his passing, the McKeag lines are getting harder to find. Dittus Performance Horses will be a guest consignor at the Froelich Legacy Quarter Horses Production Sale on September 17, 2016, in Selfridge, ND. Headlight is not consigned to the sale, but many of his kin are. He is a prime example of the type of horses that will be presented. You may want to check it out..."
